Let me tell you

Good afternoon,
Happy thanksgiving everyone, I have just finished watching a devotional broadcasted from the provo MTC from Elder Rasband for this very holiday. And apparently they will have a turkey lunch so just throw in a football and it'll be just like home.
Anyway I suppose I'll give a rundown of the week cuz that kinda seems like what these missionary emails end up being. On Thursday after P-day ended, we went to do a little service project. The project was just going to the cafeteria and helping clean up after dinner, but it was pretty good. My job was to take out all the trashes to the back and throw them away. The problem was that I didn't know where to put them I was looking for some dumpster to throw them but there wasn't one out there, so after like five minutes of looking, I realized that there was just this trailer bed I was supposed to put them into so that was nice to find especially cuz the trash bag was super heavy. After the service project, we went home. At around 9:30 every night theres this "house devotional" that I'm not the biggest fan of because their all in spanish and everyones spanish sucks so sharing one scripture and testimony is so much longer than it should be and we always sing every verse to a hymn so that takes up half the time also.
I can't really remember what specifically happened on Friday and Saturday; the days are all pretty repetitive with study then breakfast then class then exercise then lunch then class then study then dinner then study again or a devotional of some sort then go back to the house. I don't always like exercise time because my companion always wants to go to this exercise room with a bunch of workout bike machines and treadmills and I hate that room so much but the times when we play foosball the whole time ain’t too bad. My district also likes to sometimes play nine square, which I'm not the biggest fan of but it is far better than the workout room.
Sunday was decent me and my companion gave the lesson in Elders Quorum but we only ended up getting like 20 minutes because first there was a lesson on part of the handbook which took more than half the meeting, but our lesson still went decently. After the sacrament meeting and elders quorum meeting at church, we go to do this study time then we talk about what we read. There's also some time to go to choir practice for the evening devotional but we never do that so this Sunday I started learning how to play Praise to the Man on the piano and I remembered how awful I am at reading sheet music so my hymns have a way to go. Sunday evening is a recorded devotional by one of the quorum of the 12 apostles then we go back to the classroom to talk about it before we go home.
Monday was a normal day and same with Tuesday. There was a devotional on Tuesday night but those ones aren't as good cuz it's just a member of the presidency speaking and it's not as good as the ones on Sundays.
I have 3 weeks from today ‘til I go to the mission field. I am finishing the letter now on the way to the temple so Im sure that will be good. The Thanksgiving lunch ended up being pretty good. Anyway that's about all for today.

Bye

The Wild East

Goood morning how are all of us today? Here we are again another week to write another letter. This week was somewhat eventful so here's a brief explanation for some of the events.  On Monday evening some other missionaries came into town to a mini exchange here in Hobbs but we were both working in our area. We knocked doors the whole evening and met some interesting people. Tuesday was pretty normal, we had district council then did our singing service then later in the day we went and did English class. After that we visited some members who are pretty cool then we had a lesson with someone who we just started teaching again. Wednesday was pretty long we mostly just knocked the whole day and visited some people we also visited another member and had a short message with them. On Thursday we had a couple more lessons which was good. We had a lesson with one of the referrals we got and he's actually pretty cool he's really wanting to come to church and learn more and all t...

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
