Christmas is slightly different on the mission than at home. We had two Christmas Eve dinners yesterday. We had one at 4:00 and one at 7:00 . The first one was at our branch president’s house and we had some really good chicken and fish. The second one was at a new member from our from our branches house and we had tamales and some other dishes from Guatemala. We also visited someone who the elders before me were previously teaching. On Saturday we went to dinner at a members house who lives on the air force base here so It was pretty cool to go over there. There are a lot of service opportunities here. On Thursday we helped out at a food bank and helped someone who some other elders in the district are teaching split logs and toss them in a trailer and then we unloaded them in someone else's house.
