I'm becoming inactive

Well, good morning another bright day here in the lovely city of Dalhart, the sun is up, and the town is up and cooking—the sun will be up at around 103⁰ today perfect weather to go swimming or even knock some doors. So this week was busy it flew by pretty quick. We found out on Monday that some pipes in the church building were clogged and a bunch of water had leaked from out of the drains onto the floor and under the baptismal font making it rise up and float on the water. They weren't able to fix the drains this week and it made the building somewhat unusable hence not being able to have church Sunday which was yesterday.  On Tuesday we had a decent amount of lessons. For once most of them were in English we only had one Spanish lesson it was with our friend Juan who had a bunch of questions about our church and our stance on some things and let me tell you I found it a little difficult to say what the church believes in abortion and other issues so I resorted to reading wha...

Have you seen the little piggies?

 Guess it's that time of month again Good morning folks welcome to another electronic message from Eder Joseph Rivera who, with much controversy, has decided to extend his contract to live in the City of Dalhart for another 6 weeks. So the week. Lessons. Lots of folks. Exciting stuff. We had a few on Tuesday—pretty chill stuff, same with Wednesday when we had a real long lesson with an older lady named Kathy who we’re teaching and we gave her a big Book of Mormon to read. We have lessons with her every Wednesday.  The next day, Thursday, was an American holiday and our branch president and his wife had us over for lunch and to do service for them. He also has a bunch of guitars (none of them bass (its ok)) and he played some of them for us. The plan was to show us around the farm and then help out in the yard moving tree branches and helping with other tasks. We saw a place with a whole bunch of small pigs waiting to be shipped out to somewhere else in the country (kinda like ...
