Futbawl

The subject of the email likely has nothing to do with what I'll end up writing but that's just kind of how it is, I don't make the rules here.

Good morning.

It’s a Thursday p-day once more cuz of the big moving day tomorrow. Can't say I'm too big of a fan of the whole preparation day being in the middle of the week type deal if were being brutally honest with each other. Guess the folks in Lubbock are tryin to give this day to those who need to put all their stuff in their suitcases and get all ready for the following day.

Speaking of transfers it's a big change happening. Only one companionship doesn't have a change in the entire zone which is a lot of missionaries. I should say that i will ultimately be staying in Clovis for another 6 weeks but ill have a new companion living with for the time.

The missionary work has still been goin. Quite unfortunately we didn't get anyone new to church on Sunday definitely a let down there but we'll get em this week for sure though.

Yesterday we ran around town to say goodbye to the people we know and get pictures with em and gave this dude a blessing also. Tuesday night is when we found out the news where folks would be headed. Sunday we ran around after church trying to find people to visit.

On Saturday we had the absolutely best greatest fire lesson I've ever been a part of. We taught the plan of salvation to one of the families that we had at church 2 weeks ago the father and the sons that are grown adults now. It wasn't the longest lesson but really good definitely got some questions answered it was really nice. Unfortunate that we couldn't see them the next day but even then I think it's really soon that we can get em set up for baptism.

The rest of last week was normal. I was able to exchange over to the fort to have a few lessons with Spanish speakers and they went decent one of them was really good.

But yeah that's the week this week that's all I got for today so you know lll see you next time bye

American Day

Goood morning, how's it going on this bright summer morning? This week other than the holiday was pretty normal so this email won't be too long.  Monday we had a regular p day and some lessons in the evening. On Tuesday we had zone conference all the way in Lubbock so that took most of the day as well as English  class. On Wednesday we did an exchange with the other elders here in town it was just for the day but it went good we had some really cool lessons with some of the people we just started teaching not too long ago one of them was at the church with our branch president there as well. We also knocked into some people who invited us in and gave us a Mexican treat it was like an ice cream cone lookin thing filled with Carmel and a pecan or something it was kinda good. On Thursday we had a pretty normal day it rained super hard in the morning. In the evening we went up to Lovington and had a lesson with one of the people who's been coming to church.  On Friday we had ...

The Wild East

Goood morning how are all of us today? Here we are again another week to write another letter. This week was somewhat eventful so here's a brief explanation for some of the events.  On Monday evening some other missionaries came into town to a mini exchange here in Hobbs but we were both working in our area. We knocked doors the whole evening and met some interesting people. Tuesday was pretty normal, we had district council then did our singing service then later in the day we went and did English class. After that we visited some members who are pretty cool then we had a lesson with someone who we just started teaching again. Wednesday was pretty long we mostly just knocked the whole day and visited some people we also visited another member and had a short message with them. On Thursday we had a couple more lessons which was good. We had a lesson with one of the referrals we got and he's actually pretty cool he's really wanting to come to church and learn more and all t...

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
