Good morning. Welcome back to another letter via email this week.
This week was more normal but decently good. At the start of the week on Tuesday we had a General Authority come to our mission (for a more normal reason) to talk to us. There were a few different meetings for different parts of the mission—the one I was at is here in Midland. It was a real good meeting for sure, the dude who came was Elder Jose L. Alonzo who gave a talk in a recent General Conference. After the meeting we had dinner and went to English class to help.
The next day happened to be Wednesday. We had 2 lessons on Wednesday so that was cool only one of them was In Spanish but it was good. We've had a lot of phone call lessons also cuz a lot of people don't have addresses, but when we get a phone call lesson they're good, we had one on Thursday and the friend seems real open. On Friday we had a lesson with our friend Jorge. He's a cool guy we've taught him at his work when he's on break but he's real cool and read a lot of the Book of Mormon already we've taught him for like 2 weeks and he said he's already on the book of Alma so that was pretty neat. He's also wanting to come to church and all that's getting figured out but he's a cool dude. On Saturday a cool member took us out to lunch. He’s a member who is getting himself back to church we talked with him for a while and had a neat conversation. Besides that a big part of the day was taken up driving. We went down to an itty bitty town called Big Lake with a little branch there cuz the senior missionaries put there said they needed help with their Spanish members coming there. It was cool, the church building there was converted from a house. It was interesting even though it was a church it still looked exactly like a house with a kitchen and rooms and a back yard and everything but that was neat. Yesterday was Sunday we had church and had dinner with our bishop and had another lesson in the evening.
So yeah normal week in the city of Midland but that's what's goin on here. Also shout out to my mom—Mrs. Heidi Rivera, for winning staff of the month at Riverton Elementary. Any way that's about it so I'll see you all next time
Bye
