Run it back

Goood morning folks—here’s another weekly email for you all. Transfers happened this week and both my old companions left to other states/countries and they got replaced with two new ones, so you know, a whole ‘nother transfer in a trio goes wild. Other than transfers happening this week the area is still the same and it was a somewhat normal week.

The last day of the last trio was Monday and then my firstborn son elder Cherrington went of to Peru and then Tuesday we were down to 2. We had district council and went around talked to some people and had english class it was a chill day. We also got churros with one of our members for the last day of the transfer.

Wednesday was transfer day we drove up to Lubbock in the morning and we're there for a while and met my new companions and the trainer/trainee meeting and then came back to Midland that afternoon. That was basically the whole day with unpacking and everything.

The next day, Tuesday, we did a whole bunch of phone calls to all our referrals, super fun, but on Thursday evening we went and gave a blessing to one of the wards new converts who just got back from Spain it was pretty cool. Then Friday we also were stuck inside a big part of the day planning but we had a lesson with a real nice dude in the evening.

Saturday we were at the church for most of the day to watch something called General Conference. We watched all the sessions there. It was really good but that took most of the day. Similar deal yesterday we saw the last two sessions at the church as well and then did contacts and talked to folks the rest of the evening.

That would bring us to this morning—not a super eventful week but that's how it goes often anyway see you all later

On Wednesday we did an exchange with the other elders here in town it was just for the day but it went good we had some really cool lessons with some of the people we just started teaching not too long ago one of them was at the church with our branch president there as well. We also knocked into some people who invited us in and gave us a Mexican treat it was like an ice cream cone lookin thing filled with Carmel and a pecan or something it was kinda good. On Thursday we had a pretty normal day it rained super hard in the morning. In the evening we went up to Lovington and had a lesson with one of the people who's been coming to church.  On Friday we had ...

The Wild East

Goood morning how are all of us today? Here we are again another week to write another letter. This week was somewhat eventful so here's a brief explanation for some of the events.  On Monday evening some other missionaries came into town to a mini exchange here in Hobbs but we were both working in our area. We knocked doors the whole evening and met some interesting people. Tuesday was pretty normal, we had district council then did our singing service then later in the day we went and did English class. After that we visited some members who are pretty cool then we had a lesson with someone who we just started teaching again. Wednesday was pretty long we mostly just knocked the whole day and visited some people we also visited another member and had a short message with them. On Thursday we had a couple more lessons which was good. We had a lesson with one of the referrals we got and he's actually pretty cool he's really wanting to come to church and learn more and all t...

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
