x4

Good morning folks, here we are to talk about another week in the life of Elder Rivera. This week was eventful enough, we found out what’s happening on transfers but I guess you'll have to wait until the end sorry folks.

Monday evening and Tuesday were pretty normal, we had a few lessons one was with a member who were giving the lessons to again who we taught and we gave him some Book of Mormons to share and then yesterday he brought two new people to church so that was cool. On Wednesday we found a couple of people who were cool and had some lessons. Thursday was pretty calm, Friday was as well because it was a Friday around here and we had our ward Christmas party then, but before that we did have a lesson with our friend Christian and gave him a baptismal date and had a good lesson. After that we went to the Christmas party with him and so that was good.

On Saturday we made a ton of phone calls and found some more people we found this couple knocking doors who are really nice we taught them a lesson and everything. After dinner we did some contacts and then went home at night and we found out who's getting transferred and funny enough it's not me even though I've been here longer my companion is moving and I'm staying here for 6 more weeks and that'll be a full 6 months by the end of this next transfer.

Yesterday was Sunday as we all know, we saw a few of our friends there at church and for second hour we had a class for the new members and non members there which was really good talking about prayer and simple stuff instead of whatever they talk about in the adult Sunday school class and we know how those often go. Later in the day we saw a baptism for another ward in Midland which was nice. The rest of the night we drove and stopped by people and called people as well.

That letter might just have sounded like a broken record if you were to read it out loud but it be like that sometimes. Next week I'll get my new companion and it'll be hopefully an eventful enough week. I guess we'll see until then.

Bye

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
