Oh my days

Good morning, ‘nother bright day—it’s getting warm now, but how are we all doing today? This last week was actually kind of an assortment of missionary things we did so I'll bring us through them all.

So on Monday last week after p-day we were back in Hereford and we did some Bible study with someone who works at the senior center, who also sent a referral, but it went real nice the bible's actually pretty cool. We also had a lesson with a young dude—he’s real cool he was excited to hear about the Book of Mormon and said he was trying to share it with his family after that.

On Tuesday we did a bit of finding ,had one lesson in the afternoon, then in the evening we went out to Dimmit and knocked some more. We also had a lesson with someone who's been taught a bit before, he's cool, he's from Guatemala. But after that we came back.

Wednesday was a real good day for lessons. Right after lunch we had a lesson at the park with a buddy then later on we had a lesson at the church with someone named Rachel who we've been teaching on and off for the past couple months . Then we had the lesson at the church with 2 of our members—it went super well though. Most of the members of the branch are converts so it's real cool hearing their testimonies. Then in the evening we had a lesson with our man Arturo, he's so cool then we had a lesson over the phone and one more at another guys house but they were all pretty good.

On Thursday afternoon we went out to some members house who live pretty far, kinda over by Dimmit, we helped them pull weeds out of their yard and move some stuff and dirt around. It took a while, the Texas heat is also definitely starting to arrive bit it was good. We came back and in the evening we had 2 lessons with people who've come to church one of them was with Irina who we've been trying to have a lesson with for a while so that was super good to have another lesson.

We had zone conference on Friday so we were up in Amarillo most of the day. We were back in the evening and we had a lesson with Roque who was the recent convert who was baptized a month or 2 ago. He's so cool he's been busy but made it back to church.

On Saturday early in the morning we did something you could only do in a mission in Texas. One of the members, the same one who helped in one of our lessons is a rancher, and we went out with him and some others and helped brand some of their cows there were probably about 20 and what we did was held them down so they could get tags and brands and stuff bit it was kind of wild actually definitely something I've never done before and probably won't ever do again but it was real cool—and real dirty. We came back and got all washed and stuff and invited lots of people to church and my companions grandparents came through town and had lunch with us then we had a lesson with our other recent converts both of the recent converts in the branch are really cool. Then we had dinner with members and another lesson.

Then Sunday was definitely the most calm day we had church, not a ton of people but at least Roque and his kids were there so that was good. Then in the afternoon we studied and stuff then had a small quick lesson then we planned for the week and that was about it.

So yeah this week was a little more email worthy so that's probably why it's longer hopefully it's not too long. We'll have some more service and lessons next week so hopefully it'll be plenty eventful.

Anyway see you all later

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
