Week 1000

 Good morning

This week was pretty normal, so not much to write about.

On Monday we went out to Clovis New Mexico for a dentist appointment for my companion which, for those of us who are new, that was my first area I served in way back in the 19th century so it was real good to see over there. Then we got home and did some planning for the week.

Tuesday was normal, we had district council then came back and did some missionary work and all that good stuff. Wednesday was pretty similar we actually had a pretty good day Wednesday we had a couple of lessons around town in the afternoon then our branch president held some fiesta thing for graduation at his house and invited all the branch and some of the people were teaching who were at church so they were there good little event for sure.

We had another day on Thursday—some cool lessons with folks and all that. On Friday my companion was kinda sick so we stayed in for a lot of the day but called bunch of folks. Finally in the evening we did some service and visited people.

Saturday was a pretty good day we called everyone again and reminded them about church. Later we had a lesson with one of our recent converts he's super cool he received the Melchizedek priesthood yesterday—super solid. Then we had some lessons that evening also.

Yesterday was pretty calm, we had church one of the people we invited came to church so there's that. Then we had lunch and came back and called mom then did planning and that was about it.

So pretty exciting but that's about how it is sometimes. It'll be fun so see what action and adventures the coming week will bring.

See you all later👋

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
