The Sting

Good morning how are we all doing? This was my first full week here again as a New Mexican so of course very exiting stuff happening.

There was an interesting start to the week on Monday evening. When we were outside knocking doors, I felt some well timed bug or something fly right into my mouth and bit the inside of my cheek and it swelled up for the rest of the day and all of the next day, so that was a fun start. But also on Monday after that we visited a member who was super cool we got a cool testimony from him to share with someone we are teaching.

On Tuesday we had the regular district meeting in the morning, then went after lunch to do service at a retirement home where we sung songs to the people there—it was kinda fun because I got to play the piano. We had some visits and lessons in the afternoon, then in the evening we had english class, it’s kinda fun doing that again.

On Wednesday we did a ton of finding and also had some cool lessons and contacts but pretty normal day as we mostly knocked doors and we also walked around the parking lot of Walmart to find people. Thursday was pretty similar, did a lot of knocking and some lessons we also went up to Lovington which is a smaller town in our area.

Friday tambien was pretty normal. Nothing special planned a lot and met some people. On Saturday we called and visited a bunch of people to tell them about church and we had a cool lesson with someone who just sent in a referral. Sunday was church we had one of the people we invited come with some members so that was cool after church we had lunch with some members and had a normal day.

So that was about it sorry that last bit was kinda rushed it just sometimes feels like that. I hope we all have a wonderful week.

Bye

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
