We Back!

Goood morning, welcome back to Hobbs, NM where Elder Rivera is still residing. We got transfer news this week but there's no change to my companionship so this'll be an easier transfer week. We had a pretty normal week this last week so here are some pretty unexciting details.

On Monday we went up to Lubbock for P-day and I saw a member from the ward in Midland that I used to be in so it was pretty cool seeing him. On the way back to Hobbs it also rained super hard that we could hardly see in some parts. On Monday evening we had a lesson and talked with a few other people.

Tuesday we had an exchange with some of the elders in Lubbock. I was here with one of them the day was full of stuff like English class and service and meetings and stuff but we had one lesson and were able to talk to and meet some other people. On Wednesday we did a decent amount of knocking doors and we met a couple of new people to teach and some other lessons.

Thursday was pretty similar nothing to crazy. On Friday evening we had 2 cool lessons with some people we are teaching. One was with someone who's been coming to English class for a while and we've been teaching him the past couple months he's really cool, he's really trying to get work off so he can come to church but he's really liking the discussions we are having with him. The other one was also a cool guy were teaching we had a member there with us he's wanting to come to church but don't want to pull up till he's got church clothes so he hasn't yet.

On Saturday we drove up to Lovington only for a little bit to give some people in the English ward a blessing and a blessing for their house as well so that was good. Then we came back and called everyone and then went around and talked to more people. We also stopped by some members to see if they could bring one of our folks to church and they gave us maybe the best tacos I've ever eaten with pork and stuff then we went to a different members house and had dinner. Sunday was normal we had church and then a calm day we visited people and knocked and stuff but that's pretty much how it went.

So there's the week This next week is the start of the new transfer so we'll see what adventures happen this one. Hopefully we all have a great week

Adios👋👋

This week was somewhat eventful so here's a brief explanation for some of the events.  On Monday evening some other missionaries came into town to a mini exchange here in Hobbs but we were both working in our area. We knocked doors the whole evening and met some interesting people. Tuesday was pretty normal, we had district council then did our singing service then later in the day we went and did English class. After that we visited some members who are pretty cool then we had a lesson with someone who we just started teaching again. Wednesday was pretty long we mostly just knocked the whole day and visited some people we also visited another member and had a short message with them. On Thursday we had a couple more lessons which was good. It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
