W Week

Good morning how are all of us doing? This week was pretty good and eventful—somewhat of a Hobbs W you could say. We had some cool lessons and things happen and stuff.

The week started out a little slower on Monday we had a pretty standard P-day and were all over town making visits and talking to people. On Tuesday we had district council and English class and we also had a lesson after with someone we just found who's interested in learning more.

On Wednesday we had an exchange and I went up to Lubbock. This was the first time that I've been to Lubbock to do missionary work it was pretty cool being up there. We did lots of visits and had some lessons. Back in hobbs they had a lesson with someone we've been teaching and gave her a date for baptism also.

Thursday I came back to Hobbs and we had a lot of cool lessons that day. We met with one of the people who's been taught in the past about baptism and he said he's wanting to get baptized in the future as well so that'll be on the radar coming up as well. We also had a lesson with someone named Luis who we've been meeting with for a little while and he told us about all the stuff that's changed for him sense he's been talking with us and reading the Book of Mormon so it was really cool to hear about that. Later in the evening we went over to the house of a returning member who were working with he's super cool and he had his friends over and they wanted blessings so we gave them blessings and talked about the priesthood with them.

On Friday we did a small exchange for the day with the other Hobbs elders I stayed around in the area we did some visits and finding in the afternoon and then in the evening we had a lesson with one of the people were teaching named Rene. He's really cool and he expressed interest in baptism as well and we had a member there with us who was really good for him. We've definitely seen him changing over the last bit which is cool. He also should be able to start coming to church as well cuz his family is bringing him church clothes.

Saturday was packed with a bunch of reminders for church and figuring out rides for people and stuff. We also had a lesson in the evening at the church with someone we've been consistently meeting with and we talked about the gift of the Holy Ghost which he's wanting to work towards also. In the evening we had a couple more visits and a cool phone call lesson with someone who lives up in Lovington who’s really wanting to  come closer to God.

Sunday we had church. We had the dude who we had the phone call lesson with pull up to church cuz some members brought him down to church and he was getting to know everyone good at church it was good. Also someone else we invited who said he probably would have to work today pulled up to church as well with his cousin who had never come to church before so that was also cool. The rest of the day was somewhat calm with studying and planning for the week but good day.

It was a pretty good week overall though with all the stuff. Sorry it's a mad long email hope you kept awake reading it. I hope we all have a fabulous week ahead of us coming.

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
