I'll Fly Away

Good morning! I hope it has fabulous week this past week for us all. This week was a pretty good week for us in Hobbs with all the stuff.

On Monday evening we met with someone we've been teaching named Manuel who's been doing really well. We’ve been talking him for a month or two and it's been cool to see him progress and he said that his life changed after we started talking with him.

We had a standard day for Tuesday. We taught the English class because the member who usually is there was busy but it was good. Then we had a lesson with Rene who we've been teaching almost the whole time I've been here and we gave him a baptismal date for the end of October and it was pretty cool also to work with him and help him over the months. We also stopped someone were talking with named Guillermo who was playing a bunch of music in a band with his buddies so we got a little concert from them.

On Wednesday we went up to Lubbock for nearly the whole day for mission tour with a bunch of other missionaries and there were 2 general authorities there. One of them had been to our mission before and the other one is a new GA and is going to speak in conference this weekend. It was a really good meeting and they talked about a lot of stuff. After the meeting we were waiting for a while for our car to get serviced and then we drove back and got there in the evening and it took up most of the day.

On Thursday we did a lot of finding we've been figuring out different ways to contact in public this time we went down to one of the Spanish meat markets and talked to people in the parking lot and it worked kinda well. Then we also knocked doors in the evening and we had some good lessons.

Friday we had some pretty good lessons as well we stopped by someone who hadn't been taught for a while but we found out that he'd be down to start meeting again. We also met with our new branch president and then in the evening we had another pleasure of a lesson with Rene as well.

Saturday was also a really good day for lessons and stuff. We met with someone named Luis who we met last week and he's really cool and he's been reading the Book of Mormon and stuff even. We also talked with some other people we recently found later on and we had a lesson with someone named Mario we've been teaching for a little while and he's come to church a couple times and he said he's also down to get baptized so we gave him a baptism date for the end of October as well. Then later in the evening we stopped by Manuel but he wasn't there but then came up to our car when we were still there from a park by his house and we were able to have another lesson with him.

On Sunday we had church and it was a pretty normal day. Also shout to president Nelson for having a W Life.

But anyway thats about it I hope we all have a wonderful week this coming week. But we will have to see.

Bye

It is well

Goood morning gentlemen and ladies. I suppose a letter is due seeing that this is in fact my last week in the mission field. It's been pretty awesome being out here and definitely the best decision I ever made up until now—is serving a mission. I don't really got too many profound spiritual things to say here so might as well give a little recap.  It's been really great being here in Hobbs and all the other areas meeting all the people specifically the Spanish ones. This last week we met with lots of cool people and taught them. On Monday we met with our friend Mario who's on baptismal date and he's doing well. We talked about the plan of salvation and he said an epic prayer at the end. We also met with 2 other people were teaching who are doing really well and we talked with them about baptism. Tuesday was also good we had a lesson in the afternoon and then English class and some other lessons and stuff On Wednesday we had an exchange with the other elders here in ...
